About this event
Manchester International Festival — now hosted across the city and The Factory / Aviva Studios in Castlefield — is one of the most adventurous arts festivals in Europe. World premieres, original commissions, work that doesn't show anywhere else.
If you're travelling for it, the programme rewards staying central and walking between venues. Most shows are within a 20-minute radius of our Manchester apartments, and a three-week run means you can plan a long weekend rather than a single show.
Getting to Various venues, Manchester
Aviva Studios (the permanent home of MIF) is in Castlefield, a 10-minute walk from Deansgate station. From most of our city-centre apartments it's under 15 minutes on foot.
Other MIF venues — HOME, the Whitworth, Albert Hall — are all walkable from the city centre; the furthest is 25 minutes.
Food & drink nearby
Manchester's best restaurant strip sits between the apartments and the main MIF venues — Mana, Erst, Elnecot and Rudy's in Ancoats; 20 Stories and Tattu in Spinningfields. Book early; MIF weekends are their busiest.
