Cancellation Policy
We know plans change. Our policy is designed to be clear and fair — so you know exactly where you stand from the moment you book direct with us.
Standard cancellation terms
- More than 14 days before check-in: full refund of the total amount paid, less a £25 administration fee.
- Between 7 and 14 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total amount paid.
- Less than 7 days before check-in: no refund. You are welcome to reschedule subject to availability (see below).
- No-show or early departure: no refund for unused nights.
Rescheduling
If you need to move your dates rather than cancel, we will do our best to accommodate you. Date changes requested more than 14 days before check-in are free of charge, subject to availability. Any difference in nightly rate between the original and new dates will be charged or refunded accordingly.
Event and peak-date bookings
For stays covering major events (Parklife, Manchester United/City matchdays, New Year's Eve, large concerts, conferences), stricter terms may apply. Where a stricter policy is in force, the listing and your booking confirmation will clearly state the applicable refund window.
Cancellations by City Superhost
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking (for example, an unexpected maintenance issue making the property unfit for stay), we will either relocate you to a comparable property or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer. We will also cover any reasonable difference in cost where we relocate you to an alternative.
Refunds
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days of cancellation. Card network processing times may add a further few days before the refund appears on your statement.
How to cancel
To cancel or reschedule, please email stay@citysuperhost.com or call 07523 840 013. Please quote your booking reference so we can locate your stay quickly. The cancellation is effective from the time we receive your request.
