Parklife Festival Accommodation — Short-Stay Apartments in Manchester

Tram directly from central Manchester to Heaton Park for Parklife, back to a proper bed and your own shower afterwards.

About this event

Parklife is eighty thousand people over two days in Heaton Park — the UK's biggest metropolitan festival and the reason June gets weird in Manchester. The festival itself is brilliant. The camping is not: Heaton Park is a city park, not a proper festival site, so there's no official campsite and everyone stays in accommodation across the city.

Our Manchester apartments solve Parklife's biggest problem. You get a 15-minute tram direct to the park gates, your own shower after Day 1, and a bed to recover in that isn't a pub floor. Come home, drop the glitter, go back for Day 2.

Getting to Heaton Park, Manchester

The Metrolink Bury line runs from Piccadilly and Victoria directly to Heaton Park — 15–20 minutes, trams every 6 minutes during the festival weekend.

Return trams after the headline sets are the slowest part of the weekend. Most regulars walk the 20 minutes to Bowker Vale or Heaton Park Road stops and catch an inbound tram that's half-empty, rather than queueing at the festival entrance.

Taxis in and out are tough — Heaton Park is in a residential area and the festival road closures extend well past the perimeter.

Food & drink nearby

Pre-festival, the Northern Quarter (Port Street Beer House, Crown & Kettle, Common) is 5 minutes from most of our central apartments and gets the warm-up right.

For after the headliners, Rudy's Pizza on Peter Street is open until 2am every night of Parklife weekend. A slice and an Uber home.

Good to know

Frequently asked

Is there official camping at Parklife?
No — Parklife doesn't run an on-site campsite. The nearest are unofficial fields 20+ minutes away by taxi. Staying in a city apartment is cheaper once you factor in festival taxi surges, and a lot more comfortable.
What time does the festival finish?
Main stages wrap by 10–11pm depending on the day. After-parties across the city run until 5–6am — most Parklife weekenders make them a big part of the trip.
Will my apartment be loud with the festival traffic?
Heaton Park is 6 miles north of the city centre — you can't hear the festival from any of our flats. Northern Quarter apartments can be lively at 2am on Parklife Saturday, which we flag honestly on each listing.
Can I get a later check-out on Parklife Sunday?
Yes — message us on arrival and we'll usually stretch it to 1–2pm if the next guest allows. Everyone needs the lie-in after Day 2.
