The Warehouse Project 2026: Dates, Line-Up & Where to Stay

The Warehouse Project is a Manchester institution, a season of all-night warehouse parties that pulls the best electronic line-ups in the world to a former railway depot in the heart of the city. 2026 is a big one: WHP's 20th-anniversary season, running from September right through to New Year's Eve. If you're coming for a night, here's the lowdown, and where to base yourself just a walk from the dancefloor.

The Warehouse Project 2026: what and when

WHP isn't a single event, it's a season of 30-plus individual club nights, each with its own line-up and ticket. The 20th-anniversary run kicks off on Friday 18 September 2026 and rolls on through the autumn and winter to the legendary New Year's Eve finale.

The 2026 bill is enormous, Solomun, Overmono, Tiësto, Aphex Twin, Four Tet and Peggy Gou are just the start, spanning house, techno, garage, drum & bass and everything in between. Because every night is its own event, check the official Warehouse Project calendar for your date, line-up and set times before you book.

Where is the Warehouse Project?

Since 2022, WHP's home has been Depot Mayfield, a cavernous former railway depot tucked directly behind Manchester Piccadilly station, in the Mayfield district. It's a five-to-ten-minute walk from the city centre, which is exactly why staying central makes so much sense: nights run into the early hours, and the last thing you want at 4am is a long, pricey trek home.

Where to stay for the Warehouse Project

Stay central and you can walk to Depot Mayfield and stroll home whenever the night ends. Our pick of the areas:

  • City centre near Piccadilly: The closest base, a short, flat walk to the Depot and to the station for the journey home.
  • Northern Quarter: Ten minutes from the Depot, in the middle of the city's best bars for a warm-up. (See our Northern Quarter guide.)
  • Ancoats: A short walk out, calmer and great for food before you head in, and somewhere quiet to recover the next day.

Why an apartment works for a big night out

  • 24/7 self check-in. Roll in whenever the night finishes, no hotel reception locked up at 2am. Every City Superhost apartment has keyless, round-the-clock access.
  • Recover in comfort. A proper bed, a sofa and a kitchen for a slow morning after a late one beat a cramped hotel room every time.
  • Keep your group together. Get ready together, head in together, and pile back to the same place afterwards.
  • Book direct, pay less. Straight through us means no third-party booking fees and a local team on hand all weekend.

Keep the party at the Depot 🙏

We genuinely love hosting people coming for a big night, but it's worth being upfront about one thing. Our apartments are real homes in residential buildings, with neighbours next door: families, people up for work in the morning, folks who've lived there for years. The all-nighter belongs at the Depot, not back at the flat. So that we can keep welcoming festival and WHP guests, a few simple ground rules:

House rules, the short version

No parties, gatherings or afterparties in the apartment, the rave stays at the Depot.
Only the guests on the booking stay over. Please don't bring the dancefloor home.
Keep the noise down, especially coming and going in the early hours. Be kind to the neighbours.
Treat the place like your own home. Every booking is ID-verified and professionally managed, and any damage or disturbance is charged to the lead guest.

Respect the space and the neighbours and you've got the perfect basecamp for your night out. Serious breaches, parties, damage or disturbing the neighbours, can mean the end of a stay, but in practice that almost never happens, because our guests are sound. We'd love to host you.

Book early, WHP nights sell out

The biggest Warehouse Project dates sell out well in advance, and the central apartments, the ones you can actually walk home to, go first. If you've got your eye on a night this season, sort your stay early and make the whole thing effortless.
