About this event
Sound City is the festival that turned the Baltic Triangle from warehouses into Liverpool's live-music heartland. Hundreds of artists across thirty-plus venues, all within a walkable few square miles. It's a festival built for a city-centre apartment, not a campsite on the outskirts.
Our Liverpool flats put you in the middle of it — walk to the District, walk to Camp & Furnace, walk home at 2am without booking an Uber. Wake up, coffee on the balcony, do it again.
Getting to Various venues, Liverpool
Most Sound City venues are in the Baltic Triangle — a 10–15 minute walk from central Liverpool. For the bigger stages at the Docks, it's a 20-minute walk or a £5 taxi.
If you're arriving by train, Liverpool Lime Street is a 15-minute walk from most venues; Liverpool Central is closer still.
Food & drink nearby
The Baltic Market is the festival's unofficial canteen — a dozen street-food traders under one roof, open late. Pizza at Crust, tacos at Down the Hatch.
For a proper sit-down meal between sets, Maray on Bold Street is a 15-minute walk and takes same-day bookings.

Frequently asked
- Is Sound City a camping festival?
- No — it's an inner-city festival across thirty-plus venues. Most attendees stay in accommodation across Liverpool city centre, which is why demand spikes hard in early May.
- How late do venues run?
- Most indoor Sound City stages run until 2–3am. Our apartments are selected partly for sound-insulation and we don't stick you above a nightclub.
- Is it family-friendly during the day?
- The main evening programme is 18+ at most venues, but Sound City+ conference events and some afternoon slots are all-ages. Check the schedule on the Sound City site.
